Funds Directly Support Our Advocacy, Education, and Stewardship Pillars
Wyoming Wilderness Association (WWA) is a grateful recipient of a Wyoming Community Foundation (WCF) grant. Awarded in December of 2025, this grant has gone a long way in supporting our three organizational pillars of advocacy, education, and stewardship. The WCF grant has also connected our small, grassroots organization more deeply with our statewide WWA community, by helping us host events like our Tribal Webinar series and the Banff Film Fest in Sheridan, as well as towards supporting programs like our Solitude Monitoring and Wilderness Ambassador partnership.
ABOUT THE WYOMING COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
The Wyoming Community Foundation exists to help connect people, ideas, and resources in order to enrich lives and strengthen communities across the state. WWA is grateful for their support of our mission and their dedication to the state of Wyoming.

ABOUT WWA
Wyoming Wilderness Association (WWA) is a nonprofit conservation organization that began in 1979 as a group of local wilderness advocates who helped to secure the passage of the 1984 Wyoming Wilderness Act. WWA continues to serve as a local voice for the protection of our Wyoming public wildlands through our advocacy, education, and stewardship efforts, with a priority focus on Wilderness landscapes, roadless areas, and lands with the potential for future wilderness designation.
