Please join Caribou-Targhee National Forest staff, Great Old Broads for Wilderness, and WWA personnel for this solitude monitor hike and training. We will access the Jedediah Smith Wilderness from the Coyote Meadows Trailhead and journey into the remote and beautiful drainage of Bitch Creek. As we hike, learn about how wilderness managers track opportunities for “solitude” and how you can help through WWA's easy citizen science program.

When: July 10, 2024 - 9:30am

Where: Meet at Coyote Meadows Trailhead

Difficulty: This outing is rated difficult. Expect to hike 12 miles round trip.
