Sheep Mountain Solitude Monitoring Hike | Gros Ventre Wilderness

Join WWA staff and BTNF wilderness rangers for the first solitude monitoring training of the season for the Gros Ventre Wilderness. We will hike up the iconic Sheep Mountain trail while learning about USFS management of designated Wilderness areas, including opportunities for solitude. We will discuss how participants can contribute to WWA’s citizen science stewardship initiative and collect critical data to support our wild places. The awe inspiring 360-degree views on this climb are worth every step! 

This hike will be between 7-13 miles round-trip and is rated as "difficult"
