About the event
Please join BTNF and WWA staff on a hike into the Crystal Creek area. With its rolling foothills and meandering stream, this solitude monitoring opportunity showcases the landscape diversity in Wilderness designations. Learn from BTNF wilderness rangers about the unique characteristics of Wilderness and why monitoring for “solitude” matters. Don’t miss this chance for in-person solitude monitor training – a great way to explore our treasured wildlands while supporting land managers!
The hike is roughly 5 miles and considered "easy" difficulty.
For more information on the hike, visit the Forest Service website: https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/btnf/recreation/recarea/?recid=77441&actid=51
Please RSVP by July 22nd by confirming your information below and hitting the "RSVP" button, or contact Carlie@wildwyo.org with questions.
