1% for the Tetons is an organization in the Jackson Hole area of Wyoming that brings together businesses in the region to contribute 1% of their gross income to projects that protect the natural areas and sustainability projects. Member businesses donate one percent of their sales to 1% for the Tetons. These donations are aggregated and granted to fund projects supporting the long-term sustainability of the Tetons region. Living and Playing Wyoming’s Wild Country is one of those projects.
1% for the Tetons is a local chapter of 1% for the Planet, an international alliance of businesses which donate one percent of their sales to environmental organizations worldwide. Members of 1% for the Tetons automatically become members of 1% for the Planet.
1% for the Tetons grants are distributed through a donor-advised fund of the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole.

Vail Resorts Echo Program is the Company’s social responsibility and environmental stewardship program which supports efforts to preserve and care for communities and the spectacular natural environments that surrounds the Vail resorts. Vail Resorts Echo encompasses three core efforts – charitable giving, volunteerism and environmental stewardship.
The Echo program chose to support WWA’s Living and Playing Wyoming’s Wild Country because of WWA’s positive efforts to protect the wild nature surrounding the Jackson Hole community.
