Wyoming Wilderness Association offers

Summer Guided Outings to Pristine Roadless Areas

Sheridan, Wyoming--The Wyoming Wilderness Association is pleased to offer nine outings into wild and unique places throughout Wyoming. Excursions head into various locations in the Bridger-Teton, Shoshone, and Bighorn national forests as well as the Bighorn and Powder River basins. This is a great opportunity for the public to enjoy spectacular areas while learning about Wyoming’s wild public lands. Many of the outings will tour wildland areas that need protection and could be proposed for wilderness designation. This gives the participant an opportunity to make informed decisions about the management of our wild places for the future.

All outings are free and open to the public. Trip size is limited and registration is on a first come-first serve basis, so call or email early to sign up!  Rendezvous information will be given to committed participants.

Be sure to recognize the different levels of physical skill listed on each trip to find the best fit for your ability.

If you have any questions, or to register, please contact Kat MacDonald at 307-672-2751 or kat@wildwyo.org.
