It’s been almost a year since I joined WWA and I hav
e loved every minute of working for this passionate and professional organization. After spending over 20 years in corporate marketing, I feel I have “come home” to where my heart belongs and able to use my skills and experience in doing work that is truly meaningful in leaving a legacy for my children. I am amazed at how much work there is to do, still, to inform and educate people about the importance of leaving some of our public lands intact, and I am dedicated to the effort to designate Rock Creek as wilderness, an area I know well, and an obvious place that deserves protection.
