The Wyoming Wilderness Association is pleased to announce it has been awarded a 2012 Wyoming Game and Fish Commissioner license from Commissioner President Fred Lindzey!

WWA is conducting a raffle for a chance to win a 2012 Wyoming Game and Fish Commissioner License good for one elk, deer or antelope license anywhere in the state of Wyoming!* 

Tickets are $50 and only 500 tickets will be sold.  10 tickets can be purchased for $300. Drawing for the winning ticket will be held on August 18, 2012 at 6 pm.  Proceeds from the sale of this license will benefit Wyoming Wilderness Association’s work to protect important big game migration corridors and habitat to ensure a future of healthy game populations and hunting on Wyoming’s public lands.  Tickets can be purchased online, by phone, mail or in person.  This is an amazing opportunity to win a coveted license at a fraction of its value.

Rules and Regulations:

  • Raffle tickets are to be sold for $50 and there is no limit to the amount of tickets that can be purchased by one individual.
  • Only 500 tickets will be sold.
  • License is valid for one Elk, Deer or Antelope License anywhere in the state of Wyoming (*some restrictions apply).
  • License Fees are still required to be paid by the winner of the raffle
  • No Staff or Governing Council Members of WWA are allowed to purchase Raffle tickets or accept the winning ticket as a gift.
  • The license can be transferred after the winner has been drawn however it cannot be sold for more than $50 and must be transferred before the license is issued.
  • Although WWA is a 501c(3) non-profit organization the purchase of raffle tickets is not tax deductible.

*Special Restrictions Apply:
This license is not valid for Hunt Areas 75, 77 and 79.
Hunts in Yellowstone National Park are subject to additional permits

Chapter 44, Section 12
Commissioner Complimentary Licenses

Wyoming statutes provide that each appointed commissioner may cause, through the issuance of license authorizations to nonprofit charitable organizations, to be issued at full price, complimentary elk, deer, or antelope licenses. All big game licenses authorized under this section are valid for a specific region or hunt area as designated by the license holder at the time of application. Holders of Commissioner Complimentary licenses shall be exempt from the provisions in this Chapter limiting the number of licenses an individual can possess in any one calendar year. As a condition to issuance of a Commissioner Complimentary license, the Department shall require an authorized officer of the recipient organization to certify under penalty of law that the respective organization is a non-profit, charitable organization as defined in this regulation and eligible to receive the Commissioner Complimentary license authorization.
